Black Love Gatherings

CPC's Black Love Gatherings offer immersive monthly events, exploring economics, interpersonal relationships, history, and the Black experience. Providing a secure space for discussions on diverse aspects of Black humanity, these gatherings celebrate resilience, beauty, and joy while offering refuge from racial assault and violence.

Our recent growth is attributed to successful collaborations with seasoned and emerging professionals, engaging a diverse participant base. Committed to our mission, we prioritize partnerships with grassroots and nonprofit organizations, focusing on local and regional collaborations. Rooted in the principles of love, our work has thrived. Nurturing these partnerships and staying true to our values, we continue making a positive impact and expanding our community reach.

As a collective, we prioritize hosting these gatherings in Asheville's "Legacy Neighborhoods," Black-owned spaces, and historic Black churches. We actively support Black businesses and entrepreneurs, compensate Black facilitators, and establish courageous platforms that foster meaningful connections within the Black community. Our overarching goal is to redefine and embody revolutionary love and healing within our community, creating a blueprint for what it means to be in the right relationships together.

“Love is a combination of care, commitment, knowledge, responsibility, respect, and trust.”
