In the current political climate, individuals disproportionately affected by systemic inequalities face various forms of oppression, including persecution, imprisonment, and deportation. Despite attempts to sow division, CPC actively creates opportunities for people to unite, collaborate, build trust, forge meaningful relationships, and collectively heal. By establishing communication-focused spaces, the organization aims to alleviate the impact of structural inequities and cultivate solidarity among those traditionally marginalized.

We are inviting individuals who identify as Black, Indigenous, People of Color, or Latinx, with intersectional identities, to join a community-based program centered on language, identity, and culture. This initiative provides a platform for both adults and youth to share their personal stories through a cultural language exchange between English and Spanish speakers. Over a six-week series, participants will explore themes such as self, history & race, spirituality, food, sexuality & gender, and family & home.

InterCAMBIO, Jr. is a program designed for young participants that focuses on literature written by BIPOC authors. The program combines literacy and art to explore the same topics as the adult program but in an age-appropriate manner. The aim is to encourage parents and children to have meaningful conversations. We highly recommend parents and children to experience InterCAMBIO together. However, if a parent is unable to participate, they can still register their child for InterCAMBIO, Jr. The program is also open to adult participants.

Our Future is youth!
